Described as “The grandfather of all Three Peaks Races”, the Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race is a unique event combining sailing, running and a little cycling that has become one of the toughest distance events in the world. A true taste of sailing skills & a unique test of seamanship and endurance. It is a journey of 400 nautical miles, which includes the passage of the rocky Menai Strait and the complexities of the tides and islands of the inner Hebridean Islands. This race involves 389 miles of sailing and 73 miles of running and climbing. This is the story of the winning boat as they fought snow, ice, thick cloud & gale winds.
